I am struggling to make my Debt Management Plan (DMP) payments – can you help?
Yes of course. Just give us a call on 0330 102 0004 and we will review your Income and Expenditure with you to ensure that your DMP remains affordable.
Have the terms of business of my DMP changed?
No, you remain on Harrington Brook’s Terms of Business. We will be writing to you shortly to explain any changes to your DMP but please note that your fee will not change. If you don’t want to accept the changes and want to cancel your DMP you can do so.
Will you continue to pay my lenders?
Yes, we will continue to distribute payments to your lenders as before. You can find further details of what happens to your money here
How do I know my money is safe?
Gregory Pennington is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As part of our authorisation, we are required to follow FCA rules in how and where we hold client money. This includes having client money bank accounts, separate to our own business accounts, which are ring fenced and regularly audited. At any time, you can ask us for a statement, showing the payments that you’ve made and the money we’ve distributed to your creditors.

Will I still get a regular financial review of my DMP?
Absolutely, yes. It is vital that we complete a review with you at least once a year, to ensure that your DMP remains suitable and affordable for you. A month before your review falls due we will start to contact you by email and post to ask you to book a time for your review that suits you. If your circumstances change, we will do a review with you at any time – just give us a call 0330 102 0004.
Will my lenders be notified?
Yes, we have already been in touch with the creditors included in your DMP, and we are dealing with them on your behalf.
Will I start to receive creditor contact again?
Providing you continue to make your DMP payments then there is no reason for creditors to start contacting you again. Your DMP remains in place.
Should I call to introduce myself to you?
There’s no need to call to introduce yourself – although please do get in touch if you have any concerns or questions. Over the next few weeks and months we will contact you to conduct a financial review with you, to ensure that your DMP remains suitable and affordable for you,
Have you been given all my details from Harrington Brooks?
Yes, Harrington Brooks has passed on the details that they held about you to us, so we can continue to manage your DMP and provide you with the service that you expect.
Will I still get my statements?
You will get a statement from us once a year, showing the progress you are making with your DMP. In the next few weeks we’ll be giving you access to Gregory Pennington Online, so you will be able to login to keep an eye on the progress of your DMP. You can also request a statement from us at any time.
I can’t afford my payment this month who do I call?
If you are struggling to make your payment please give us a ring on 0330 102 0004.
I have been receiving creditor contact and letters. Where do I send them?
Please take a picture of the creditor post that you are getting and email it to us via [email protected] . Please make sure that the image is clear and readable and remember to include your Harrington Brooks reference number in the email. Alternatively, if you have any Harrington Brooks reply paid envelopes please use those to send it to us. Or, if you prefer, you can post it to us at Gregory Pennington, Jackson House, Sibson Rd, Sale, Manchester, M33 7RR.
Can I still make my monthly payment via the Harrington Brooks website?
Yes you can. This may change in the future and if it does, you will be given plenty of notice. We will also send you details of Gregory Pennington’s online and phone payments service in due course.
Will you continue to use the Harrington Brooks Reference Numbers?
For now, yes. In due course, we will issue you with a new eight digit Gregory Pennington reference number. You’ll find your reference on letters and emails that you get from Gregory Pennington.
