Wonga’s new online Claims Portal is live now

It’s important to us that we can help our customers improve their financial wellbeing as a whole. So we wanted to make sure you’d spotted this opportunity to reclaim some money you may be entitled to.

What have Wonga done now?

Did you ever borrow money from Wonga? Perhaps you were one of the tens of thousands of customers to have been awarded compensation because of Wonga’s unfair debt collection practices. Either way, you probably know that they went into administration last year. Wonga’s administrators are now inviting former customers to submit claims for refunds of unaffordable loans.

How do I make a claim?

If you have a Wonga debt included in your DMP, you’ll be hearing from us soon with all the information you need about starting a claim. You may have an email from us already!

If you had a Wonga loan in the past but paid it off, so it’s not included in your DMP, you can still make a claim.

Our partners, HD Law, can pursue a claim for you. In the event that your claim is successful, HD Law’s fee is 24% (including VAT) of the compensation paid. We’ll send you a form of authority to complete if you would like HD Law to look into this claim for you.

Alternatively, you are welcome to complete the claim yourself using Wonga’s online claims portal at claims.wonga.com. If you do this, please let us know on [email protected]. No fee is payable if you submit the claim directly yourself.

If you’re entitled to compensation from Wonga it would be a shame to miss out - especially since making a claim is so easy and our partners can do all the work for you. Keep an eye out for an email from us with more details.
