Personal debt `a concerning factor` for over a third of Britons

According to swiftcover.com`s first quarterly Life Index - which rates the country`s feelings `across all aspects of life` - financial pressure and personal debt is `a concerning factor` for over a third of Britons.

A quarter of Britons said they were happier this time last year than they are now. This unhappiness, the Index revealed, is a result of a number of concerns. 61% of people said the ongoing rise in petrol prices was the most concerning aspect of modern life, while 58% said actions being taken by the Government `concerned` them.
